Mats & Sent

I was traveling around Sweden with my best friend Nathalie when we stumbled upon Mats working on getting logs of his cart. Curious as we are we introduced ourselves and asked what he was doing. He explained to us that a lot of jobs are now being taken over by machines, leaving a lot of unnecessary damage to this planet. Picking up the tree trunks by cart and a good portion of healthy strength makes much less of an impact on the environment and our world. Mats decided to keep working together with his horses and chose the environment over getting things faster done with machines.

Being born quite a bit later than expected, Mats named his new little North Swedish Horse foal 'Sent' which is Swedish for 'late'. I've rarely seen someone more passionate and caring for his horses than Mats. Working together as a team, Mats and Sent inspired me so much in such little time. I feel lucky that he was willing to explain and show what he was doing
